To our frontline partners who serve at a Hope Center and work directly with implementing programs for child development, this pathway is for you. We are so glad you are here, and we are so grateful for all the work you do. This pathway is meant to encourage and equip the direct programming you are doing as you work day in and out to help kids thrive.

Developing a Thriving Cause Community

This course equips OneChild staff and partners with adaptable training content to use as they train frontline leaders in pre-launch, launch, and post-launch activities in setting up Cause Communities on Bridgely.

After completing the course, learners will be able to:

  • describe the pre-launch to post-launch processes and understand the components of each,
  • distinguished what content must be contextualized,
  • compared globally created tools, and
  • organize contextualized trainings for their respective Hope Centers based on best practices and collective OneChild wisdom.

Child Protection Course

This comprehensive course on child safeguarding and protection was created by nine subject matter experts in seven countries who have extensive experience in detecting, preventing, and responding to abuse.

After completing the course, learners will be able to:

    • describe a theological framework for child protection,
    • distinguish several ways to help prevent abuse,
    • execute a plan of action when a child shares about alleged abuse,
    • understand how to use EthicsPoint, and
    • determine their own next steps in protecting child from abuse.

Introduction to Program

This course will provide you an overview of introductory topics related to program and help you successfully launch a partnership from a programmatic perspective.

This course includes: the value and importance of children, partnership and maturation, child selection criteria, holistic child development, and transformational development.
